1)The Invaders in the Year 2000- The super soldier serum was stolen by Nazis giving rise to a new form of warfare. I see Kitty Pride as main character with Frank Castle and Wade Wilson for supporting character under the command of the master of magnetism him self. Nick Ferry is President.
2) Domino and Shader Star:They are still out there, no one uses them but they are. This is just a waste of badass.
3) The music of Erich Zaan by H.P. Lovecraft

I would have liked to do a Domino solo series myself. I think they're going to be using her in the new X-Men line-up. What are her powers anyway, luck or something?

Luck, thats it. Or it was now she can manipulate probability (like the scarlet witch only I don't think she is as powerful). I liked it better when she only had luck like long shot.

its described as the "dominoe effect" you know how phrases are important to literary characters... things "fall into place" for her.

I always thought both her and Shatterstar were cheap derivations of Longshot; who was always better than every crappy member of the original X-Force combined who wasn't a trammeled apon New Mutant. Then they went and ruined him at the end of that Arc of X-men, and just replaced him in continuity with Shatterstar more or less, and handed his powers off quietly to Domino.

        thumbs down.

The point of this was to have other people give ideas on what Comics should have been made. Not just to discus my ideas (This probably my fav topic)... FAIL

Don't get down Max, Tribe has a lot less traffic these days.

I always wanted to do a Rogue solo-series, but one that had nothing to do with any of the other X-Men, I sort of wanted to make her the Wonder Woman of the Marvel Universe. This is the big, strapping Rogue of the 80's, not the little girl one that seems to be running around now.

And there definitely needs to be a Vertigo-style Dr. Strange series, not so much focusing on him battling Mephisto or whoever, but solving supernatural mysteries, almost like a detective crime noir...

        Thanx, man.
I love Rogue, I grew up on the big hair version and thats how I think of her when ever she comes up, I don't mine the new look so much but there has been irking change of personality that started around the turn of the century, she has indeed lost her flashy, bigger then life attitude. That is what I loved about her. That is what made her work so well with rip 'em up types like wolverine and why she and gambit (who has also become under used and misused) chemistry in the first place. Among all the marvel women she has possibly the most room for character growth. It's sad to think that I can't even remember if she had a part in the civil war (even Dom and Shaderstar had a hand in the civil war). I've would like to see a team up with Miss Marvel, mostly because I never found out how she got her powers back and i don't know what their relationship is like now that she is back. It's would be cool to see a Vs for the same reason.

Good old Doc Strange, I've been waiting years for someone to do something cool with him (ever since the defenders of the 90's). It would be nice to see him written by someone form Hellblazer or even someone who did a good Ras Al Gould (don't remeber how to spell Mr. Devil's Head's name, I think that's right) Batman arc. I've never been happy with Wang (or is it Wong?) he comes off more like a servant (a rather stereotypical one at that) then a student, they would do well to look to some Anime for inspiration on how to write a Master/Student book. I mean what exactly is Steve teaching him? Shouldn't he be sending him to other realms to learn form other sorcerer supremes? Or to gather rare items? Doc could stand to be a few shades darker, you would think with all the fantasy book marketed to adults and the epic popularity of Hellblazer they would take advantage of a market the is so far from saturation.

Ha! Everybody I know liked the old Rogue back when she was kick ass. Wake up Marvel!

And yep, that's exactly what I was thinking for Dr. Strange, yeah, you could really get into Wong and Clea and the rest.

I also would have liked to have seen a Kitty Pryde series that was more adult oriented, and by adult I don't mean "sexy", I mean that dealt with more sort of adult relationships and real world problems, something like Strangers In Paradise or Love & Rockets, perhaps with a more case-by-case detective story sort of slant.

I thought the new X-Factor was going in that direction, but it has since become embroiled in a lot of usual X-Men nonsense.

In FACT, if Frank Cho or Kevin Maquire are out there reading this, I would be happy to WRITE a Rogue or Kitty Pride series featuring any of the above elements, or at least take credit for the idea. Pete Milligan could write it.

the new run of X-Force was something special. super nice.

I'd be down for a good gritty Doctor Strange title. The run of "Strange Tales" in the late 80's was pretty much of the Vertigo ilk, before Marvel ever had any side imprints. They tried a reboot of Doc Strange that they called "Strange" but unfortunately they reinvented the wheel too much on that one, and they lost the classic power of the good old Doctor Strange that's so tightly woven into the Marvel Universe. Since then they've successfully rehabilitated him by doing what he's always done: pop up in titles throughout the Marvel Universe. I LOVED him as a Member of the Secret Avengers; but I guess it wasn't going to last forever.

Kitty Pryde I never could by her as the Robin style wolverine sidekick, I remember someone describing her as "everybody's little sister". Shouldn't she have something more then that by now? Shit, she was created in the 80's, wasn't she? Even Robin grew up eventuality. I never understood why she never killed anyone, I mean she was wolverine's sidekick. If anyone could change her and bring her to an adult title, she would have to go through some crazy shit at this point. Don't get me wrong, I do like her but she needs some work.

well, now she's 'lost in space' so who knows what some future writer will do with her...

Am I the only one who was not so impressed with Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men? Yes, Cassidy's art is amazing, but the stories...I was less than amazed.

It's hard for me to remember, all the "X" books run together. Is Astonishing one of the rated "A" books? Those drive me nuts. It's not the lack of violence or sex really (I do like both, but they don't make a book), it's that it because they can't do blood/guts tit/ass they don't try to market to adults and that just brings down ever thing, kids buy the worst crap and so long as they do marvel wont mess with winning formula.
