What's your favorite comics story? I've got a million of 'em! But I'll start off with just two, very different kinds of comics --
First, I really love the "A Game Of You" story-arc from Sandman(#32). Barbie's in a coma, and has to travel through the fairytale world of her subconcious in order to save herself from a parasytic entity called The Cuckoo.
One of my favorite superhero stories is from the Claremont/Silvestri period of Uncanny X-Men, (Beginning # 225) the "Tell Them In Sparta: Fall of the Mutants" story. It featured what I think is my favorite X-Men lineup, ( Wolverine, Colossus, Havok, Rogue, Dazzler, Longshot, and Psylocke lead by rockin' cool mohawked storm -- I just wish it was Nightcrawler instead of Longshot.) in a battle to save reality from some sort of interdimensional demon. They're fighting vikings and robots, flight by flight up a skyscraper in Dallas. it's awesome!

Re: Favorite Stories?
Tue, September 11, 2007 - 3:33 PMHmmm... well, I could definitely spend a few weeks thinking about this, and come up with my absolute favorite, but who has time, and one of my favorites is sitting on a shelf just behind the computer -- "Quiver," Kevin Smith's first arc on Green Arrow. There's honestly nothing I disliked about this story.
I think "V for Vendetta" is really another one for me (it's actually just below, sitting on a copy of "Watchmen," which is great, too, but that's like saying your favorite movie is "Citizen Kane." Even if you mean it, no one will believe you). -

Wed, September 12, 2007 - 7:23 AMI actually prefer V for Vendetta to Watchmen. I feel like it had more motional impact.
And you don't have to pick your absolute FAVORITE, just stories you wanna talk about.
And speaking of Alan Moore, anybody ever read his great Green Lantern story, "Mogo Doesn't Socialize" ?

A year long agonizing trudge through the murky underbelly of the Teen Titans. It was the first time that I can remember dieing a little each day until the next issue came out...
